Keep hanging around. Been almost 8 years since I sold my SV but I still hang around the SoCalSVRiders.com board Good folks are always worth staying in touch with. Ride safe, ride well. |

Kinda why I'm here despite me trading in my 1125R back in November. I'm still hoping for something practical and affordable from EBR though. |

Buell people simply ARE the best and kindest people. Time and time and time again. |

Nuke- good on ya for the Tigger 8! I've always loved the sound of a Triple- hope you pick out a good pipe before too long... FWIW, I've got 2 good friends who run a great D/S outfitting company- they are uber-gearheads, and simply good peeps! Check them out: http://www.dualsporttouring.com |

I've found the triumph experience to be similar to Buell, except for a few differences. The dealer is less than 2 miles away. The dealer, even though they just added Triumph last year, actually likes the brand and is welcoming when I show up, regardless of the reason. My Bonneville starts a lot more gas pump conversations and random thumbs up from people going down the road. |

Also, if you're looking for a triumph forum, I've found triumphrat.net the best. Very good info, members around the world. |

Good folks are always worth staying in touch with. one of the reasons I check in every day... Too true, and I should check in more often. The triumphrat forum seems pretty cool, and friendly. You'll have to post how you find the Tiger. Did you get the 800 or 800XC? |

Congratulations! Have fun on and tell us all about it. More and people are going to the triumph 800. If EBR doesn't have something I like and can afford by the time the Uly is paid off, the 800 trip is going to get a serious look. |

The tiger is an incredible machine. i got the road version. it was a grand cheaper than the xc and all i figure i'm givin up is the tube tires and a little longer suspension travel. i didn't need the x-tra inch seat height. but i'm pimpin it out for a little more off road ability... xc risers, radiator guard, hand guards, headlight protector, & just spooned on the scout k60 tires. they are killer lookin! thanks for the invite, i'll start hangin at the dirty board! |

Nuke, great bike, welcome to the club. On my 4th Triumph now--a 1050 Tiger. Love it! Check out Tune ECU, a free software available to tweak your bike. Been using it on last 2 bikes. |
