Ok, I'm ready to move towards the next level with regards to riding gear. I'm interested in 4 season type. The waterproof jacket and pants that are good in cold or hot. I'm currently eye balling the Firstgear Kathmandu jacket and pants. Anyone got any suggestions on what they use and like or experience with the one I listed?

I ride with Cortech GX-Air Series 2 jacket and the matching Tourmaster Venture air pants. Mesh with rain liner and warm liner.

Bought two sets. Had them since May 2010. Holding up excellent.

I'll be buying the Gerbing heated jacket liner and, not sure which style, their gloves. Battery pack with controller as I don't want the wires outside the clothing. Look for the MADE IN USA label as they just opened up a mfr facility in NC.

Got their Lombard v2 last year. Now they upped their game with the Navigator 2pc and powershell 1pc along with the lombard v4. Lots of features, for the buck. Road my Uly to work 2 days already this year and wouldn`t have if not for this suit.

just got the firstgear raineer tpg jacket. i freakin love this thing! excellent quality, sweet liner, totally water proof and found it on clearance for a great price (expensive otherwise) and great in the cold. a think the pants are called "adventure pants" that go with this jacket.
sorry no exp with the exact jacket you're looking at but firstgear is good stuff

Nuke, I agree that Firstgear stuff is normally very good. I had one of their jackets in the past and liked it a lot. Just couldn't find it since I shrunk out of it.

As for Gerbing, when I'm ready to buy heated gear (still not ready yet) I will certainly be looking into their USA made stuff. If they produce what I would like now that is made in the USA then I will certainly look at it if not buy it. All depends on the user reviews.

TourMaster Flex Series Jacket and pants. Goes from fully lined cold weather gear to hot weather mesh. With the inner liner in the pants and the outer layer on the jacket works fairly well as rain gear ...to a point.
