Fifty.....Congrats on making that life milestone while you are still alive! If I recall I celebrated my fiftieth by wrecking a Buell demo bike at Road America a few years back. That was the point at which I realized that for me there was no longer a "tuck" in the phrase "tuck and roll". From this point on, it seems that 'old fart' may not just be a description of one's self or someone of the age.....sometimes a manual check is in order due to the sense of smell being one of life's little gifts that is known to fade with age. |

Happy BD my friend and remember the old saying; "you're only as old as you feel" so stay "feeling young" by keeping good health if possible, eating right and most of all staying highly active. So every night when hitting the sack, ask yourself; what am I going to do tomorrow? AND THEN, DO IT, with vigor. Bob T.,carving canyons at 70 and lovin'it. |

No, didn't hurt Frank, he's just being quite. I'm sure he smiled reading all these posts. |

Thanks for the B Day wishes everyone. I must admit that I do not frequent the badweb as much as I used to as I have a lot going on during the week. I did receive an interesting DVD called "Cafe Society" which contained an interview with Erik Buell. It was very interesting..... I received a gift from a fellow S2 Rider that I cannot describe how it touched me and my family. I intend to post a picture tonight if I can get around to it. Buellers are simply an amazing group of people with many talents. Lynn did a great job in giving me a great party with some close friends. I felt like a very rich man. I can honestly say that my health is much better at 50 than it was at 48 and 49....... The road to recovery still has some bumps in it but I will get there. Frank Pics will follow |

As promised. (it looks a lot better in person)
I lost my Dad (Sgt Maj J.R. Skinner USMC Retired) in 2008. There is a picture of him carved into the front piece of plexi glass of the flag case with a LED to light it up and his flag and three of the shells from the guns used for the final salute. Needless to say it got to me pretty good. Thanks Jeff and Julie |
