Anti-Flag; The Bright Lights of America album. I just got this recently and so I brought it to the library to listen to while working on final exam essays. So Freaking Awesome
A bit of interesting background on the following song, "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" written By Ralph Blaine and Hugh Martin for the 1944 film "Meet Me In St. Louis" directed by Vincente Minnelli and starring Judy Garland (they married a year later). The original version was considered too depressing so Martin was persuaded to do a rewrite. Here's Judy Garland singing that rewritten version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5g4lY8Y3eoo
In 1957 Frank Sinatra asked Hugh Martin for another rewrite so Frank's Christmas album "A Jolly Christmas" would in fact be more jolly. This is the version most recorded by gazillions of musicians. Here's Old Blue Eyes with Martin's rewrite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZ6yQgBvuoI
In 2001 Hugh Martin and John Fricke rewrote the song once again and retitled it "Have Yourself A Blessed Little Christmas" to better reflect Martin's Christian beliefs. Here's Del Delker singing with Hugh Martin on piano performing the final rewritten version: http:www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WzIJjaW5F4feature=results _main&playnext=1&list=PLDF7801AF5l
Thanks Thesmaz, that perked my morning right up. I've been a Black Keys Fan for a long time but I haven't gotten the new album. I'll have to get it tonight.
My favorite video is this one (but that new one is freaking awesome too)
Also an oldie, this was the song that first blew me away and made me an instant fan.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse live at the Fillmore East, Winter of 1970. - "Cowgirl In The Sand" - This was recorded when Danny Whitten was still alive. He'd be dead in less than three years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pzeYdkSr8s
