Saw it last night, enjoyed it but had trouble understanding the dialogue.I was with three other people, all over 50 and we all had trouble hearing it.

Lizbeth Salander road a rat Honda cafe bike.It
looked like a CL350 but the builder claims it's a CB.It's got scrambler pipes, clubman bars and a bumpstop seat. She(or somebody) road the snot out of it.

Here's a link to some discussion about it:

I love those old Hondas!

The Swedish version of the movie is supposed to be better, but many people do not dig a movie with subtitles.

I heard an interview of the actress. She had to do a brutal anal-rape scene, nudity, piercings, fight scenes, and the like. She said the one thing that terrified her the most was the anticipation of riding the bike!

I wanted to see this movie but it looks like reading the books will be more interesting. My Mom went to see it and I've been meaning to ask her how she liked it.

The books are awesome. The first one starts a little slow (unless you like to read about finances) but when it gets going it is awesome.

I highly recommend the Swedish films. I really can't picture better casting than they did for the roles, plus the authenticity of the film and the feeling for the story with the Scandinavian culture, language. Seeing James Bond playing a Swedish journalist, speaking in English but "in Sweden" is too much disconnect for me.

The originals are awesome, as are the books.

I listened to the audio book while riding the Uly from North East Nebraska to and around North Central Arkansas (roughly 1,400 miles). I thought the audio book was very good.

+1 Fahren, nailed it. I read all three books, then watched (read) all three swedish films and immensely enjoyed all of them. I have yet to see the new film but a lot of people say it doesn't compare to the swedish ones. I am still excited to see it though, whenever that may be.

Wish I'd seen this yesterday. We watched Parts 1 and 2 of the first one on PPV last night!
