So...
You all know I have been looking for a job for almost a year now. I had six phone interviews from January to May. Then I had a couple of in person interviews this summer here in North Carolina, with the last one at the State in August.
Then I had nothing for over three months.
Today, I got a call back from a senior recruiter for several positions out of state.
Then, I got a call for an interview here in Chapel Hill that I am doing Monday.
Next, I was out on the Buell doing volunteer stuff in Raleigh, and wouldn't you know it I got a third call from another recruiter for other positions coming up.
So, I am really really really hoping that my luck is about to change! I am a happy girl tonight! Yay me!

You're gonna have a job soon. I know it. I just hope they don't keep you too busy during Dragon V! It's looking like there might be 10 or 12 of us coming from Texas this time! YEEEEEEEEHAAAAW!!!!!!

Hey Wolfie, if I get the position in Narrows, VA... guess we could have a new location for WVBR... he he he... since I would be right on the VA/ WV border.
Char - you MIGHT wanna think of the DRZ400 as your next bike - there are TONS of user groups and over-the-counter lowering kits. HYPER reliable (unless ridden on freeways constantly near rev limit)
DEAD END with the one recruiter. Large military contractor looking for a Hydrogeologist to go out on oil rigs down in the Gulf. WHILE it sounds like a lot of fun and something that I am willing to do at this point, apparently, not going to happen.
Still got to study for UNC- Chapel Hill interview on Monday. Still hoping for the job in Virginia to pan out. I like MONEY !!!
I really want to stay here. There is well over 2,000 pages of documentation on the UNC Chapel Hill EHS website. I can't possibly read it all before 1:00 PM Monday.
I am completely overwhelmed at the moment and entirely intimidated.
