What???? I hear you cry, has Mr Grumpy finally gone over the edge? Well not quite, but in this world of acronyms I sometimes have a job to keep up with it. Acronyms, we all use them LOL or the French equivalent MDR (mort de rire = died laughing). Then there's LMFAO & ROFLMAO it took me an age to work out what they meant as I couldn't ask anyone for fear of looking a complete & utter 'tard. Anyway please post any that you know of in current usage (not made up) with their explanations. So that those of us who are knocking on a bit can retain some semblance of credibility with our kids. We present a FUBAR award each year at work to a fellow employee who has made the most massive F-up who can still laugh about it. Made up a plaque that has a water faucet that was accidentally sheared-off in an office area which proceeded to spray water vapor through the whole office and lab area for almost 15 minutes before we found the valve to shut it off.
