This whole recall thing is a joke! I guess this is how democracy works around here nowadays...when leftys don't like what the right is doing, lets just start a recall. Wish i would of thought of that when Doyle was jacking our taxes over and over for the last eight years...
Past pension contribution by the taxpayers of Wisconsin for teachers and state employees = 100 percent
Current pension contribution by the taxpayers of Wisconsin for teachers and state employees = 94.4 percent
Past healthcare contribution by the taxpayers of Wisconsin for teachers and state employees = 100 percent
Current healthcare contribution by the taxpayers of Wisconsin for teachers and state employees = 87.6 percent
Wisconsin was spending $3.6 billion more than it took in taxes. In simple terms, that means Wisconsin borrowed $3.6 billion for our bi-ennium budget. Insane spending at the state and local levels here. Our unemployment is current 7.9 percent, so that means less tax monies coming in. Our school districts can now seek healthcare outside the Wisconsin Education Association Council, WEAC for short, saving millions in taxpayer money per year.
But, that's not good enough for our teachers and the union goons that attack, verbally and physically, anyone that speaks out against their shrill diatribe.
We, the conservatives of Wisconsin, will not be intimidated by this sham recall or their criminal behavior against the populace. We are THEIR bosses, not the other way around.
I RECALL WALKER saving Wisconsin . And giving me a conceal carry permit. Funny how the lefties forgot about Doyle losing 150000 manufacturing jobs in his last term. And how we have 1200 more teachers in the class rooms now . This country needs a leader like we have here in Wisconsin not this union controlled thug we have now.
Because you are a public servant, that means that I pay you salary plus benefits via tax dollars. Doesn't matter where you live in Wisconsin or where I live, you are feeding off the teat of the taxpayer in exchange for your services. That makes ME your employer.
I am very tired of public servants that cry foul with their salary plus benefits I provide for you and your family! Today, you make more money and have better benefits than those taxpayers who employ you. Yet, you and yours continue to whine about it. Wisconsin cannot continue to run deficits (borrow money) to cover shortages in tax revenues. The spending has to match the taxes.
I work for GE. I am union. We have a new contract. That contract gave us less this time regarding our benefits package. Am I whining? No, glad to have a job.
Another thing about GE. GE no longer provides pensions FOR ANYONE employed with the company as of January 01, 2011. You either take a 401K plan or you don't. GE's pension plan, right now, is flush with cash. GE plans to keep it that way for those of us who will eventually draw from it.
Public union pension plans, on the other hand and around the country, are broke! Milwaukee is an excellent example of greed at the public pension trough. Former Milwaukee County Executive Tom Ament and his cronies robbed the public pension plan. Now the taxpayers, YOUR BOSS, will be paying for this for decades until it's corrected. Meanwhile, people continue to exit Milwaukee by the tens of thousands every year because they have had enough of public employee attitudes toward them. The only public employee in Milwaukee I currently agree with is Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke. He has the best interests of his "bosses" in mind with every decision he makes.
Today in Wisconsin, we have a balanced budget. Today in Wisconsin, teachers are working instead of fearing that they will be laid off. Today in Wisconsin, the "bosses" have some say in where their generosity with public servants is being spent. Today in Wisconsin, we are status quo or paying slightly less for our property taxes. For all that have read this far, Wisconsin is one of the top 10 highest taxed states in the union. We are the highest, the coveted # 1, in property taxes.
I didn't think Governor Doyle was much worse than Governor Thompson. However, his "bosses", all of us, let him serve out his term and we moved on.
Well said Two_seasons. I would point out something about WI having a balanced budget though, and this isn't just a slam against WI. States having a balanced budget in this day in age is complete BS. The reason I say this, just take education for example. The state is responsible for education, but has come to rely on Federal programs to supplement the funds. All states do this. The Federal budget is totally out of control with it's deficit spending. I just can't see any honesty in claiming that a state has a balanced budget when that budget is dependent on sucking on a teat of deficit spending. I'm not meaning to call you dishonest, just those in charge of the state budget. I'm not even sure the state should be to blame. Regardless of who's to blame the citizens are carrying way too much public debt. Sorry for going way off topic, but it's worth understanding.
The recall elections in WI are going to cost the state million of dollars, which they don't have, to conduct them. None of that is being paid by the unions or anybody else, so it will come out of the taxpayers pockets. So what do these idiots think is goiung to happen if they get a new governor elected and there is no money in the coffers?
It's worse than that. Local municipalities overspend and go to the county. Counties overspend and go to the state. States overspend and go to the Federal government. The Federal government confiscates earnings from citizens in well run, prosperous states and redistributes it to poorly run, fiscally irresponsible states.
The cycle continues.
Worse yet, local governments spend as much of the local tax revenues as possible on Head Start, WIC, Local health programs, and other programs first. Then when the local and state governments run short, they scream bloody murder that they can't afford schools and police and fire services. NO ONE wants to be the person who said "tough luck" to schools, police and fire folks, so the funds flow.
They interviewed one of the "signing" woman last night on the local TV station. Both woman shown were of legal voting age (the one interviewed was 20 or 22 years of age), just really short women. Too bad the guys posting this trash didn't bother to ask for some additional info prior to posting..... funny stuff. I guess they figured mis-information is better than no information........ ended up looking like idiots.
Want to bring the media to its knees have sit down with advertisers. Be nice explain that you dont like the progressive love affair and your going to buy stock in thier company if you dont all ready own it. Its wonderful how fast you get responses when your a stock holder more you control though ownership or proxies the better. Years ago CBS ran an antigun report daily So they thought oo we're so popular etc we are going to have a IPO on the news division We bought stock as most NRA members did and signed the stock to the NRA ROFL CBS found the end of the leash was shorter than they thought !
So this girl walks up to me tonite and asked if I would sign a Walker recall petition....I told her the truth and she had a bad reaction, as it seems like the truth is like Kryptonite to liberals!
the truth is Walker is a pile of shit and the people that believe a word out of that cross-eyed stoned looking motherf***er's mouth are ignorant or stupid.....or both.
Rocketsprink, I can see why in your profile that all info is hidden...No surprise.I would like to know the reasons for your opinion, as I am always open to hear other points of view. Brian
I suppose little rocco has all kinds of education and degrees from high profile schools to be talking ( typing )about me like that. It seems like to many people here (in wisconsin) have to show how smart they are by name calling, when they run out of facts people want to hear. I call it coming to a battle of witts un-armed
"Walker has confirmed that he will propose cutting education aid by about $900 million, or 9 percent statewide". He did it. Enough said. Now our local public schools are discussing going to a 4 day school week after lowering the number of credits needed to graduate. This is why I send my Son to a private school. Small classes and there is no idiot cutting funding and dumbing down the curriculum. It's a strain financially, but there is no way in hell he's going to an underfunded, overcrowded public school. It's not a conservative/liberal issue. That is just plan stupid. But I guess you don't need a great education to say "Do you want fries with that?"
Well Rocco explain to the OWS why your not one of the 1% your kid goes to private school! Don't waste your money best way to improve your kids prospects is to put him or her up for adoption. May they wont get the rectaloptalitis you carry.
