Perhaps I am bad at google. I need a real paper copy of the NYC yellow pages. All I can find on google are apps and websites. They do still exist right? Any New Yorkers want to mail me one? Thanks.

I haven't seen one in at least 10 years. I honestly forgot about their existence.

I found this in a few seconds, looks like it may help.

You can also try calling 1-800-YBYELLOW, or contacting your phone company directly.

Without the NYC Yellow Pages (3 quite large - 3" books) what would you set speakers on for acoustic damping?

When I had my construction company and we were opening offices or starting projects in other cities I had two methods.

1) Order

2) Check into cheap hotel, put in suitcase, leave.

Quick call the FBI Court just confessed.

Personally I am outraged, how can a prestigious educational establishment allow such a self confessed reprobate to lecture impressionable students?

This just goes to show the further moral decline in society in general.

Sorry Blake, I'm pinching your lines.

Between stealing phone books and Diesel from a farm, you all should keep your doors locked if you have Court over!

It's an academic epidemic!

This has nothing to do with Court, who I'm sure was joking about stealing phone books.

Apparently, Pablo buys a bunch of stuff at Walmart, loads it into his car, then brings his receipt back into the store and loads a second cart up with identical items he purchased earlier and walks out flashing his receipt to the greeter. He then comes back into the store with one of the cartloads of stuff and receipt and returns everything that was in it.

Call ATT. I'm sure they can tell you how to get one.

411.com works too, but you said you need the book.

The are great for target practice too!

Hahahaha . . the diesel story hasn't been told in years. That was about this time of year to . . . the KU - K-State game was being played that day and it was snowing and sleeting.

That was a VERY ugly day.

1996 . . . the bike was publicly introduced the next year.

You just took to heart all of the CISsies' comments about the Buell engine being closer to a diesel than others...

Oh please . . . . before the CISsies got to me . . . I, of course, stranded in the snow and sleet and stuck miles from nowhere on a dirt road that had become mud ruts . . . walked to town . . bought tools and called my R&D "connection".

I told him I was stranded miles from nowhere . . . . had run out of gas . . sneaked up to a farm house and stolen what I thought to be gas . . but was in fact diesel . . and asked . . WHAT DO I DO ????

His reply: "Kick the compression to 17:1 and call me in the morning".

Click.

I learned a lot about Buells that day walking into town, buying tools, a gas can and walking 5 miles back.

So . . . you want to be a test rider, eh?

Chauly (I call him Chuck) . . . . . remember 17 years ago when I was an innocent kid from Kansas . . just occurred to me that this entire thread involves me stealing any number of things from about any and every where . . . . see what you did to me!

The only thing that would have made that story better is if the farmer had caught you taking the jerry can, and smiled and said "go ahead, help yourself, fill up your tank."

I'm just an engineer. Farmers scare me, as they are (in my experience) far smarter than I am.
