They didn't use or need silly "trend" words back then. It was odd,far out or groovy...depending on your prospective.

When I used to buy older jap bikes, if I looked at a Goldwing, especially the early ones, I had to test the charging system to be sure it hadn't been overloaded with a setup like that... it takes a special kind of madness to wire up a bike like that!

Makes me wonder what one could do today, with the new LED technology- I know guys who make extra $$$ with those silly LED strips that change colors like a state fair ride, but imagine doing it like an old-school rig in the pic above!
