I'll state it again: Perception Management, manipulating public access to truth, bending stories, filtering, sanitizing, withholding, teams of employees scouring forums to present opinions. News is a business, perception management is a public relations activity, both presenting a side to flaunt.

This chap using the F word is truth, the videographer is giving him coverage. We really don't need TV news any longer, just the "new" press.

Homicides, suicides, accidental deaths, rapes, rioting, arson, drug overdose, greed, envy, and theft are causing this stupid movement to fade away with a whimper. These idiots still haven't put forth a platform of what they believe. Kind of makes you wonder about the objectivity of the Leftist media's pandering of Krugman's Army. Even the former Enron adviser, Krugman, has cast them away while finding no problem speaking at a MoveOn gathering along with some of America's finest haters

I am the 100% American.

New York City is big. Lots of diversity. It's not certain that Kristallnacht celebrators came into town with the Occupiers. ( or are the Nazis that jumped on the bandwagon of OWS ) They could be local homebrewed Nazis. So I can't really draw any connection lines here..... let's be fair.

However. It is often said that the Jews are the Canaries of civilization. When the anti-semetic voices and violent actions grow, you know civilization is headed toward Bad Times.

Nazi symbols of hatred and Che t-shirts and burning cars.... ( how soon before we have "no-go" neighborhoods & daily car burnings, like Paris? )

A president who wants us to be a European Social Democracy and a Attorney General who chooses enforcement of laws according to his own racist/progressive ideology, and orders from the President to enforce or NOT, laws passed by Congress that the President disagrees with. ( even when I agree with the dude, there's a term for that kind of power. It's not a modern term. It's very very old. History. Rhymes. )

Looks like the occupiers are graduating to making IEDs! I don't recall anything like that ever happening at a Tea Party rally.

quote:

the deputy also found a number of firecrackers and two commercially made mortars inside glass canning jars, designed to be fired into the area during professional pyrotechnic displays
.
.
.
The deputy also found two gas masks, protective eye goggles and a safety helmet. All three men told the deputy that they had spent the night at the Occupy Portland demonstration, and they brought the mortars and safety equipment to the demonstration in preparation of the expected confrontation between police and protesters Sunday morning.

The three had been at the demonstration during the confrontation Sunday morning and had left about an hour before the vehicle was stopped. During that confrontation, a police officer was injured by a firework, but the three men denied being involved in the incident.

When asked about the explosives, the three men told authorities that they knew the canning jar would explode, causing glass shrapnel to fly and possibly cause injury.

By the way . . .for a barrel of fun . . . tune in Thursday when the idiots are vowing to teach Bloomberg and the NYPD a lesson when they "keep Wall Street and the NY Stock Exchange from opening".

Can you say "free fire zone".

They are messing with a law enforcement organization that is larger than LA, Chicago and Philly combined and the technical envy of most countries military organizations.

Shut Down Wall Street

By the way . . . don't miss THIS ONE.

Some idiot heckler was going to interrupt . . . I haven't read the article yet but folks who were there told me this Marine/NYPD cop started moving the moment this guy stood up and before the guy had the 3rd word from his mouth . . drug his ass out the door and tossed him on the sidewalk.

The idiots are being laughed from the city. They, and the unions backing them, are irrelevant.

I really hope they wise up but after visiting an OWS web site (and getting a headache from reading some of the forum posts there) it seems unlikely. How the hell can they compare their cause to the Tiananmen Square and recent Egyptian protests?

Can't believe I just spent the last 2 hours getting caught up in a posting war at some dumb a** OWS blog/forum. What a waste of time.

Hahahaha . . . got our park back at 2am.

They had fair warning.

The park is cleared and the sanitation crews will have it returned to public service today.

Personal items are presently being unloaded from garbage trucks and the pile will be available to search for belongings early afternoon.

Bye-bye . . .

A judge just granted a court order allowing OWS to return to Zucotti Park with their tents. I guess Soros is gonna have to spring for new tents because the sanitation department carted the old ones away.

From Reindog's article...

quote:

Hours later, the National Lawyers Guild obtained a court order allowing Occupy Wall Street protesters to return with tents to the park. The guild said the injunction prevents the city from enforcing park rules on Occupy Wall Street protesters.

How does a court force the city to NOT enforce it's rules? We are quickly turning into a nation that doesn't follow it's own laws. Not a good thing!

Thursday they are intending to:

  • Prevent the New York Stock Exchange from opening.
  • Block the Brooklyn Bridge
  • Disrupt all subway traffic

I'm tempted to take the day off to watch . . . outta be good. I do confess to having an "I wish Rudy were here" fantasy. . .
