Dock workers are Union so they most likely got paid. It hurt the companies expecting product though. In all honesty if they were actually trying to hurt bushiness disrupting shipping is a good start. Not that i give them credit for strategy. Oh i also condone none of this. | ||

Drkside, Don't worry about turning conservative. The labels pundits hang on people are almost always wrong. Few people are all one thing. Though we do see some very useful idiot Occupiers that think they are. I'm a fiscal conservative. What a flash from the past. I haven't heard Bob Avakian's name since I was a warehouseman at UPS in 1980. One of the sorters belonged to the RCP and treated Avakian as a mixture of Mao and Christ. I never saw evidence of the charisma that his followers exuberantly saw. He repeatedly tried to get the workers to sing "The International" to no avail. When asked what we are going to do after the Revolution, he said we would spend our free time building houses for the poor in Oakland. When I asked who was going to build my house, there was nothing but indignant silence. I said the hell with it and worked for my Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering instead of Raging Against the Machine. I guess things haven't changed much with these folks. | ||
