Torx bit for a security bolt. Can't think of the exact name for it.

I used a center punch, then drilled with a 1/8" drill bit,then used a regular Torx bit.

those torx bits are available everywhere. easy job with the right tool

I think it was the bigger one, T-45.

Wish I'd have thought like Jramsey and saved myself the cost of the tool set. Got mine at O'Reilly, Sears wanted $45 for the set I think., it was too much for me at the time.

Sears has them too. Tamper resistant because they are used to mount ignition switch to reduce possiblity of theft. Not so you cannot remove them. Nothing bad will happen.

It would be a T40H or T45H.The "H" after the size means that it's a Torx security bit.

I use a small strong screwdriver to lever the little post bit around til it snaps off, then a stock torx does the job.
