Decided to bring the tuber in to get the TPS reset. As I was riding to the dealer I noticed my inspection sticker with the mileage from last year in November - 19,250. I look at my odometer now - 20,950. 1,700 miles in just about a year. I should be ashamed of myself. There's light, though - HHR7 is this weekend and a friend and I decided to take friday off from work and go riding in the Adirondacks for a few hours. Oh, and she runs SWEET with the TPS reset. |

Nothing to be ashamed of. Look at the resale value you retained compared to having say 10,000 more miles on it....but 10,000 more miles of excellent Buell riding is worth way more than the value saved.....go ahead.....be ashamed! |

I only managed about 1300 miles this summer....bought the bike in April with 2,700 miles....so I feel like I did her a little better than the previous owners. My buddy owned it from 2003 till 2011 and put 432 miles on it |

I haven't done too badly overall - my bike was 7 years old when I got it and had 11kmi on it. In about 18 months I put the second 11kmi on it. This year has just been bad with house stuff, weather, etc. Plus living so close to work means I don't ride there anymore and that cuts into a lot of miles. |

That's OK. This summer I put 0 miles on the S1's odo. As in 00000.0 |

My 1125r got less than 500 miles this year thanks to the Bonnie getting over 5000 miles. The Bonnie is slower, heavier, doesn't handle as well, less powerful but still I love riding it. It's a more comfortable riding position, better commuter and around town, and better for 2 up rides on the weekend. If that trend continues the 1125r will be for sale next year. |
