I just heard/found about this place! It's 15 mins from me! I guess my mountain bike will be getting year round abuse from now on.

Located in New Richmond, WI

It's not Mountain biking but...

Last winter we rode the dirt bikes at "The Sandbox". It is a great way to spend a cold winter day with your riding buddies!!! My best riding buddies are my 11 year old daughter and my 9 year old son!!! It's a very fun and family friendly place.

I never made it out to Ray's in OH, but have a bunch of friend who have. They all said it was great for being an indoor place. The really funny thing is that at the time we had a website going with lots of pictures and videos of what we were doing locally at a place called Challenge Park. The guys at Ray's said they got a lot of inspiration from what we were doing. The guys at Ray's treated our guys like royalty. They were pretty embarrassed. We did have some pretty cool stuff for the midwest though. Check out the corkscrew around the big tree at 1:35...

I'm beyond too old for that stuff now!

Thanks for the post. I'm going MTBing with my son for the first time this Sunday. IMO 4-wheel transportation is overrated.

It was a perfect day for mountain biking. I was surprised how much I liked it...NO SPEED LIMIT, a new curve every 20 seconds and every now and then a bump that would send us skyward. 'Makes me nostalgic for some very fine rides I had on a Yamaha 250 in the Southern Kettle Moraine back in the late 60s when I lived in Wisconsin.

I'm feeling bad for you northerners. Thanksgiving weekend is the official kickoff of desert riding season. While you guys are shoveling snow, thousands of us will be tearing it up in the vast Mojave Desert.

Come on out, just bring plenty of cash. A 15 minute helicopter ride to the hospital will set you back $8,000.00. DAMHIK.

Just got back from Rays. I've got multiple blood leakage's on my body. I dove right in and did the expert jump section, only one crash... This place is an ass kicker cardio wise, I feel like I just got back from riding the southern kettle. With that said, I bought the year pass. I meet two super cool regulars there that showed me the ropes. Everyone is super cool there. As for you 29'ers, they are not best for the jump sections. The staff was kind enough to let me borrow one of their bmx/mtb rental bikes. The bike was a bit easier with the jumps and the pump sections, but I'm a total rook to this so I'll manage with my 29'er. Get out there guys!

My mountain bike is all pulled apart for some new hardware. Once it's back together I'll have to meet ya up there. That looks like a lot of fun.

My brother and sister live in Mukwonago. Next time I'm up visiting, I'll give you a shout. MTBing in the winter sounds like a good alternative to staring at a forlorn, snow-bound Firebolt sitting in the garage.
