I got a beautiful gift and a nice letter from him recently . . . it was really good to hear from him and I sent some 1190RS stuff to him.

Good to know he's healthy . . .

That nickel plate is aging nicely. I remember someone (was it Rocket or the writer, can't recall for sure) commenting on that in the magazine article when I first saw that bike.
