What do you do if you own Red Bull company and have buckets of left over money and one of last year's out dated F1 cars sitting in your barn, and right down the road a piece you are working on tax deductions by building a race track? Well that is not hard to figure out! Call your buddies to handle the photog work and fuel up the car and the chopper! Did you notice the left front tire blow out at the end? Still good for some 15,000 rpm donuts! I like it! |

dear gawd, that looks like fun, .... knobbies and mud would have made it more awesome, but still just too much envy for that entire reel. |

I'm surprised it got any traction at all. They must have had it dialed back quite a bit. I thought it was cool to see the aero working with all the dust. It made a nice perfectly shaped rooster tail from the wing and tunnel. I used to see that when racing dirt in the midwest. The Late Model cars would suck up and carry along the dust behind them just idling through the pits. |

You guys need to get out more. They have been racing Indy cars up Pikes Peak in the dirt since 1916. Can't wait to see Formula One in Texas, looks like they have alot of work to bring the track up to F1 standards. |

yes, but thats pikes peak. anymore most of it is paved. and i would do that before i even had the chance to blink too! and thats set up for it! that f1 car looks like the most they did was max out the suspension height and run it. |

Is that track going to have about 6' of base material and then paved? Otherwise, any wreck is going to be an air show.(?) |

I'm on the email list and waiting to hear when tix go on sale so I can buy them and book a hotel room. Until they start selling tix I don't believe they are "really" on the schedule. As much as I loved going to Indy for the USGP I would love to travel to TX to see it, as I have family down that are long overdue for a visit. Of course I would love to see it come back home to Watkins Glen, but IDK if that will ever happen. Not holding my breath. |
