Glad to hear you're back home Crusty  Take care and here's hoping they find the cause of your little episode soon.
Re the starter motor... How did you earth it when you ran it on the bench? Can you do the same thing with it in the bike? That would then point at relays etc.

I haven't spent much time here lately, been working a lot more these day, but can't believe I missed this thread....
Glad your'e ok Crusty, the time in the hospital will soon be nothing but a bad memory, :-)
