I'm not going to worry messing with the balancer tension lever and spring. The vehicle has a 24 month warranty. Maybe after that expires we'll look at it.

Meantime it's great fun.

DD,
You may keep your bikes stock, but when it comes to photography and journaling... you're anything but stock!

I really enjoy your work and I hope you continue now that you are in OZ.

I have gone very far into desolate places solo and logged over 2000 miles last summer of real off road riding. not counting street miles. It is just very a capable machine. Also it is not for the short people sorry.

And isn't it amazing how fast you can rail a thumper through a smooth twisty tarmac? And without a lot of drama?

Or course mine was a KLR-250, which never, in its 20 year production history, never ever did anything remotely surprising or scary to anyone when they whacked open the throttle...

It was a hoot at deals gap (all the way until it blew up : ) ). One of my favorite rides of all time.

"what median strip???"

I was at McDonalds drive thru and this guy got his car stuck and no one could get out. Except me i just drove up onto the curb and whee-lied off the rest of the curb. And i was outta there in no time. Love the maneuverability of a dual sport.
