I am not a racist ! I think that we are a bit too sensitive concerning the subject. Why is a post using the term "froggs" not edited and my post using the term ch*nk was ? Frogg (not in your case Froggy) is used as a derogative term in this case. I hate China, I don't hate Chineese people. Is Chinaman acceptable ? As for boots...I have four pair of Wesco's and don't see me straying from them unless they move production overseas. Filson makes some fine stuff as does Camber for USA made work clothing. |

Kind of a stretch, but since environmental law directly impacts US jobs (negatively) I think this is still topical. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB100014240531119045 37404576554750502443800.html?mod=WSJ_hp_mostpop_re ad Pretty damning. Not the science part, but the recognition by climate scientists that climate science is a political game. Though the possibility that cosmic rays increase cloud cover is pretty damaging to the CO2 warming theory. Water vapor is massively more effective at greenhouse warming than CO2. |

Anyone recall this song from Firesign Theater? (An Equal Opportunity Offender) What makes America Great? ------------------------------------------------- It's candied apples and ponies with dapples you can ride all day! It's girls with pimples And cripples with dimples that just wont go away ! Its spics and wops and niggers and kikes with noses as long as your arm! Its micks and chinks and gooks and geeks and honkies (Honk! Honk!) who never left the farm ! That's America, Buddy! |

Interesting to see Gibson Guitars, no less an "American Icon" than Harley-Davidson . . preparing to lay folks off as SG, Explorer and Les Paul production grinds to a halt after the raid. Their only option . . "produce overseas" The President has no clue how to create a single job . . . . |

Another great jobs idea in action from the Obama admin. Excellent on emergency preparedness too eh? If the Bush admin had done this, they would have been barbecued by the mainstream news media. The corruption and incompetence are off the charts. Impeach. |

I can add Mathews Hoyt PSE Mission Elite All the bows I sell are US made (for now) Lots of the acc are made overseas though. I am sure it's only a matter of time before they are forced to move the bow manufacturing overseas too. Will be a sad day for archery when that happens. |

Add Gerber LMF II ASEK item # 22-01627G to the American Made list. All of the LMF II knives are made in Portland, OR, but only the ASEK has the sheath made in America. |

Capitalism and government are mutually exclusive. Capitalism and employment are mutually inclusive. The greater the scope of government, the greater the lack of employment and reduction of wages. Why, then, does "labor" continue to support big government, smaller capitalism, higher unemployment, and softer wages by supporting political that advocates for the governmental policies that create these very outcomes? Even the "Buy American" mantra follows failed Keynesian, demand side principles. |
