Yes. . the FREEDOM TOWER hit 2/3 of it's eventual 1,776 foot height yesterday . . . .

Most amazing are all the other buildings going up on the site.

If it were a small town like LA, Chicago or Houston . . . they'd all be among the tallest buildings in town.

In the top photo you can see one of the towers on the south side of the site across from Century 21 department store.

If you haven't kept up with the September 11th Memorial . . . take a look. Largest "non-natural water falls in America. They are amazing.

Lower Manhattan without the WTC has left a hole in our hearts every time we visit the City. The animation of the Liberty Tower made me feel whole again. Thanks for the photos and the website.

Fascism will be defeated by demonstrating to the world the resilience of America's determination to do the impossible through Freedom. What a beautiful place the 9-11 Memorial is going to be and a reminder of our greatness and vigilance to remain free.

We are all New Yorkers.

Well . . . yeah .. but you more than most. I mean . . . you eat and party here, right?

Hurry back . . . and I'll take you on a tour of the site.

Lower Manhattan without the WTC has left a hole in our hearts every time we visit the City.

Every time I watch an older movie filmed in NY and see the WTCs, it's like catching a glimpse of a dead loved one in a photo or home movie.

Still hurts.

back in the 8os we moved an entire carrier battle group up off the coast of Sakhalin Island, we spoofed a tanker routed from Sandiego to Hawaii with all the electtonic sounds of the big boat.... and took the ship EMCON up north - way north. Ivan Shiate his pants.

Clancy used the ploy in one of his later books, NIS, was NOT pleased. If we can move an entire flotilla of a carrier and 9 ships in 'darkness' imagine what we can do with up armored APCs and 'black' SUV's.

Might want to look into what the Massachusettes 'national guard' has been up to for the last 3 years with their 'civil disobedience' training. They have been gaming this one for a while.
