"President Barack Obama's national security council had been discussing this incident and trying to decide how to respond, said the situation “doesn't make us happy”, but the administration had little recourse."

Bullshit, they should have vaporized the entire Bin Laden compound upon exit. This is the same crap that happened when that F-117 Nighthawk was shot down over Yugoslavia. The decision was made then not to bomb the wreckage because of possible civilian casualties and what happened? The plane eventually fell into the hands of the Russians. I swear to God, our inept leaders are going to get us all killed. What is point of spending billions of dollars on advanced weapon systems if we are going to have such a cavalier attitude towards securing their secrets.

As Aesquire said in another post, Clinton, via Commerce (not State anymore), let the Chinese tech team at a rocket launch site "collect" debris after the rocket malfunctioned off the launch pad and was destroyed.

At that time, China was behind us 20+ years in guidance systems technologies. Within a couple of years, they were on par with NATO!

Vaporize indeed!
