Thats funny! I love having all three dogs wound up to do something... "truck, jeep, car ride" "outside" "Is there a rabbit?" "Bun Bun?" "What was that?" and they all go in silent mode and hold their breath so the can hear better.... it sure takes the stress of the day away |

Dang, missed the anniversary by two days. Meant to post on the one year anniversary of picking up Bella from Alex and Heather. Anyways here's a couple of newer pics. One looks like she's getting eat up by Caio, my brother's dog and the other she's passed out on the carpet snoozing.
She's really been earning her keep. So far this summer she's killed half a dozen snakes, a ground hog and a mole. She's spoiled rotten and she knows it. Oh, and as of last weigh in she was 70lbs. |

Duesenberg and Bonneville (Duese and Bonnie for short) - our Queen Elizabeth Pocket Beagles. I wanted a beagle, my wife wanted a little dog. So we got little beagles. Duese is ~9 lbs, Bonnie ~11 lbs, fully grown. They're great little dogs! |

Looking forward to it... On a similar note, due to terminal density regarding the posting of pictures/videos, I've never been able to post up pics of my guy, who passed this past May 22nd... got TONS of pics over the 17 and 1/2 years being my buddy. Maybe you can tutor me on this. He was a magnificent dog. Someday I'll have another Basenji... (Message edited by 86129squids on July 29, 2011) |

This is pretty much the bane of my existence these days... Charlotte house sits, Cocoa (and a hated rabbit)... Saturday night thunderstorms drive the freaked out dog under the bed in the guest room... Wake up, open door for dog to go out, does not come down... stays under bed... Try later... dog is barking. The dog is wedged under the bed to the point where I have to actually try to pull her out (unsuccessful). With my messed up back... lifting up the bed is not an option... so I do it anyway. Meanwhile, Sunday, my bed and other furniture is delivered. Now, mind you, the only thing I really missed in the six months of having no place is my bed. But, I said I would dog sit... so... I will look forward to sleeping in my OWN bed next Saturday night after I pick up my friends from the airport. Dumb dog, indeed...

Chihuahua and lab puppy got hit by a skunk last night at 10pm. Was up until 4:30am trying to get right of the smell in the house which is proving harder than getting it off the dogs... |

Blake wash Darrell. Blake turns back to stow hose. Darrell impatient for towel commences drying his head off on Blake's denim shorts. "Hey! No." says Blake. Blake finishes stowing hose. Meanwhile, Darrell solves his irritating wet head problem to his utmost satisfaction... by rolling in the compost pile. Can a dog look more self-satisfied?
I love this beast. |

Sorry I dont have any photos but I have a Pit bull gip that is the best nanny dog ever I have grand children and great grand children that wander all over the ranch by thier self she is never away from thier side. she is super protective of kids. Way back in time before people started breeding them to fight that was the main purpose of the breed. Just be careful when correcting the kids in front of her. |
