OK, as usual, I'm listening to "East Tennessee's Own" WDVX- a listener supported public radio station (NOT an NPR station BTW)- bluegrass, americana, real country (NOT Nashville pop country), some roots rock... they are the BEST radio station I've ever known. www.wdvx.com OTOH, what I listened to last nite on the local NPR station was some new jazz- they do good jazz programs most of the evening- I was absolutely stopped in my tracks listening to Brian Carter's "Enchantment"... that IS on my "MUST buy" list... Wow! I used to get my jazz fix on by blowing an afternoon and some $$$ at my fave independent record store- really should get back into the habit... I just watched a few of their vids on youtube, some *really* nice bass playing on one of the more mellow tunes: Gojira sound really interesting, could be great riding music.
