SO I'm a bit of a worrier at time. Let me tell you that the internet doesn't help this. I have had some discomfort in my calf and some slight swelling at the ankle so i google it and all that keeps coming up is DVT.

Also now that i am paranoid i notice every twinge and defect like the vein on my ankle is bulging more than the other..... FML

So has anyone actually had this i need a real opinion and not my ridiculous mind telling me somethings wrong. Thanks!

If you read enough medical stuff you will self diagnose yourself with terminal brain cancer. I recommend you get it checked out by someone who blew a decade in college to learn about it : )

Self-medicate, apply tourniquet, apply sawzall, cauterize with torch, poof, done!

If that is the solution I think I would try an aspirin regimen first....

Don't have a thrombo baby

If you are worried about it, go see a doctor. Self diagnosis via the internet is generally not advisable.

my ex had what we thought was a "cramp" in her leg, put off going to the hosp for a couple hours, turned out she had a DVT and a piece broke off, traveled through a hole in her heart that no-one was aware of, and she had a major stroke in the ER, long story short, 13 days in the hospital, 2 of which were in the ICU, missed work for 6 mos or so, lost a toe, and still has some residual effects.

when in doubt, see a doc!!
