That was great! The only thing is that I know Glitch doesn't like us northerners poking fun at "southern hicks", but this is just begging for some jokes.
I think I prefer outstanding classical musicians playing classical music though. That said, Rodrigo and Gabriella's Stairway to Heaven floats my boat too - although they are more folk than classical.
John Williams at Alhambra Castle. The second stanza is some of the most beautiful guitar music ever written for mine.
Cruz's brother lives here in Austin and I met him through the Austin Classical Guitar Society (FYI, Edgar also plays true classical pieces, but seems to have found a niche playing flashy cover versions of songs). I fighting tendonitis in my upper right arm and so have had to lay off my own classical guitar for a bit (hurts too much after a while of being in the proper position).
I love John Williams! I haven't seen that youtube video, thanks for posting that.
Second movement - Largo (starts 3:40), I can't listen to without fond memories. There was a young lady in college that I had an incredible crush on. There was dinner and wine. A beachfront hotel. In the morning I was told that she had never thought of classical music as sexual.
We move ahead in life but some parts of our past will stay with us.
In a past life, played viola, cello and piano (none of them well)
