I've heard of parents using the redistribution of wealth theory on their liberal kids to explain the fallacy of the idea. I have done it to my kids and they say "That wouldn't be fair, I work hard for those good grades!" And my reply is "Then why is it fair to do it with income?" | ||

yea,.. next time they go to a concert or sporting event with great seats,.... ask them to switch with someone who has cheaper seats for the last 10 min of the show. | ||

ah.... like education doesnt have its own entitlement class for scholarships, funding, grants, 'aid', admissions and loans. It was true ever since they started adjusting standardize testing scores based on diversity and disparate 'classes' that have nothing to do with the individuals academic record. Look no further than the 'United Caucasian College Fund - because a mind is a terrible thing to waste.... oh wait. And it gets better under the 'Dream' act when the 'illegal' immigrants are allowed into State schools at RESIDENT admit prices and QUALIFY for Federal,STATE, Grant funds based on ethnicity. Don't think there isn't already an inordinate amount of 'redistribution' going on in the education system. Want an entitlement ? You should have the EXACT same eligibility and 'opportunity' to it that the Single, white, unmarried, non criminal, non mentally challenged, able bodied, American born, under sixty five, 'worker drone' male is entitled to. Pick your program - at any level, for any entitlement - you will find that your 'redistributive' value is zero. I would add unemployed, but with a nation that is at an aggregate number close to 20 % its just another pedantic statistic. (yes, it is 20%; go look at how that number has changed in calculation since 1958; use those stats - the number is scarier than the 'NEWS' will ever admit) | ||

I always got a giggle that my buddy got a full ride scholarship on a minority scholarship. To a black university. The hardest slot to get into medical school is white male. |
