I have a set of Bohn "armored long johns" - basically Lycra tights with armor in pockets. I think they make them in mesh now, too. I don't get a lot of call to wear them, though. I seldom go out in just jeans (these go very well under them, though). They are not really enough to wear under my heavy leather over-pants from Fox Creek Leather (great leathers, no armor, though). And in warmer weather, I am more likely to put on my mesh armored overpants so I can wear something "streetable" underneath. If you think you might need to go out in jeans and want some armor protection, these are fine under jeans. I like having the armor stay put exactly where it's supposed to, in tight against the skin. | ||

And their claim is pretty much true that they don't really "telegraph" through your regular pants. You can feel them, but they are not really visible, especially if your pants are roomy. |
