It makes it easier for me to keep track of what I have and haven't read, and I can flag certain keywords to get a different label, which makes it easier to spot when someone is abusing the annony button or posting something they shouldn't be posting Funny example, there was a thread last fall, someone for some reason posted racist comments in a Xboard thread. I didn't have a filter setup to pick them up at the time, and being that I had no interest in the thread I never saw the racist post. Someone jokingly made a post that said Obama and a few other political keywords and something like "Oh that should get the moderators attention!" Needless to say, I was wondering why an xboard thread got flagged as political, and when I opened it up to check it out, I saw the offending post.   Americanmadexb Posted on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 - 01:19 am:        David L.
