Looks damn nice, my only offering, and this will come with more track time is to brake a bit later and get on the gas sooner. Hows that bike doing by the way?

Looking good. Your going to want to move your knee pucks around a little. You have good form from what i can see. I wish i had more money and time this year to hit the track. All the track days here are on Saturdays this year and i have to work Saturdays. I made it out to the race schools last year. The only thing that sucks about the track is it costs so much and is addicting.

Rich,

Yeah, I've got to get more balls and work on my braking points. I also think I need to run at a higher rpm while going through the corners, even though it's a big V-Twin.

The bike is great, I could not be any more happier. I was passing 600's in the straights... Bike is also a blast on the street, she's a looker.

Those knee pucks are a biatch to remove. I've pulled the stitching trying to remove one.

Looks like you are having fun. Try to work on your upper body position and put your chin closer to the inside handlebar or even further inside. You're getting your butt off the seat but your upper body is mostly still in the middle of your bars. Look at some pics of the pros.

Do a track day WITH a coach. Most operations will let a coach work with you to spot you if you ask. Follow/lead. It's not really possible to do serious critique without BEING there.

Most folks doing track days don't realize that the instructors/coaches/referees LOVE being asked to help work with you. Trust me, NONE of them are doing it for the money, most barely make enough money to pay for tires and lunch.

Also, an on-track instructor can spot body position, suspension setup, braking/throttle, even help with traction limits (when you're eventually pushing it that far) - you may not always be aware of the very beginning of a slide on corner exits when you're bringing on the throttle.

I'd recommend ditching the camera, taping over the speedo - ELIMINATE every distraction possible so you can FOCUS on the ride. NOBODY with a camera running can say that it has no effect on their mental processes.

Video looks cool by the way - it is fer sure you are confident... but I'm always concerned about distractions and it's why MANY track day operators do not allow cameras or 2-way radios except in advanced group or after they get to know you after a few sessions.

(my $0.02 highly devalued for inflation)

Def get that speedo taped over.
I'm kind of surprised that they didn't cover that in the riders meeting or at tech.

The guy that blows turn 1 almost always knows how fast they were going down the front straight.

Yes, they do.
Lose the speedo, you'll go faster when you don't know how fast you are going.

Damn I need to get back on a track!
