its my go to cheap beer. I usually drink the traditional lager, although the black and tans are pretty good. Usually i get it if i dont feel like spending the money on a craft beer. A 12 pack of bottles is 8.99 here.

depends on what you like, i prefer more of a ipa/pale ale/ porters and stouts.

Over summer when the days are really hot ill drink anything that doesnt taste horrible and goes down smooth.

I do love guinness and i like most of blue moons offerings too.

Mostly IPA's and other ales, but come summer, the right lager is just right.

Sipping Dogfish Head's Apriphop IPA this evening.

Guell:

If you have not tried Ten Fiddy Imperial Stout then try & find it. Very good beer, but it only comes in a special can.

Matt- If you want to try some, you can probably get Ten Fiddy at Bill's in Summerville. If not there, then definitely at Charleston Beer Exchange.

Yuengling Traditional Lager is good by me.

Blue Moon or Shock Top are my general favorites.

I'll take a Hoegaarden Whit over any of them when I can find 'em.

Just tried Shock Top Raspberry Wheat,YUM! I don't normally care for fruity beers but this was refreshing.

WHAT??? I can't even get it here in Kilgore and I don't think any beer anywhere is that cheap here. Yuengling is outstanding beer. I like the Porter.

24 pack of Yuengling cans goes on sale at a local grocery store before every holiday and it's $13.88... Can't beat it. One of the reasons I moved to NC, along with riding, mountains, oceans and oh yeah, work...

We really DO need to start a brew section here.

I'm about to consider brewing-as-a-hobby if we EVER get our floor tile finished.

Meanwhile - ANYTHING - as long as it is NOT a lite beer.

Beer is awesome. Brewing it is even more awesome. And tons of fun. I don't think I've ever had Yuenglings.

+1 to Ten Fiddy. Make sure you let it warm up some. Dogfish 60 is good. the 90 is even better. I still haven't been able to find the 120.

And if anyone thinks they're man (or woman) enough, try Old Stock. Make sure you have a nice padded seat for when it knocks you on your ass.

Edit: Watch Beer Wars. Great documentary on beer.

Daggar, do you bottle or keg? The reason I ask is I am about to sell off my Jubel's (old style) & Oberdorfer's and buy a kegging setup. Bottle cleansing is the only part that I don't care for.

Blake, if you ever get the chance to get up around Grapevine then make the trek to Glade Rd & 121. Sitting on the corner is a little piece of Heaven by the name of Hall's. Best beer selection in 500 miles and possibly further, but leave you cell phone in the car or you will not get any help.
In Plano there is Mr. G's. They are good but not as good as Hall's.

Speed, I've only bottled. I would love to keg. Or can. That would be rad.
