Back online.
Year's worth of ID Security, and a firmware update.

Thank you for your credit card numbers!

I was in a bet that Duke Nukem Forever would come out before PSN came back. : (

I think you have to go to their website to get a forgotten password.
Not over the console.

I accepted your friend request, I guess you sent it before it went down.

Ohsoslow, according to Sony all 77 million PSN accounts were compromised. Sony was hacked multiple times and was compromised in several ways. What is most disgusting is how Sony is more concerned with filling their products with Digital Rights Management to protect their products from piracy, but then they go and store customer data and credit card numbers in unsecured plain text. Epic fail.

"Sorry, I was busy playing XBL."

Same here. The local GameStop noticed a rather unusual increase in 360 sales this past month. I wonder why.

meh PSN is free, unlike other counsel online options, its not like i was out anything. oh and how many generations/ years did it take to fix RROD issue?

i do agree with you froggy, Sony's priority's are out of whack. its not the first time a company has lacked securing peoples personal info. my itunes account got hacked last year they ran up a $500 tab on my itunes and then took my card number and sold it, within 48hrs i had almost $1000 stolen from my bank account.

Oh, and while you guys were busy playing on your inferior consoles, I was enjoying hundreds of great games on my high res 5 monitor PC. I can span many games across the bottom 3 monitors, it is amazing the difference it makes. : )

Yeah well I for one can't use a keyboard and mouse to play.
I watch my son, (hardcore pc gamer) and I'd bet he could do very well against anyone on a console.
I've lost a lot of motor function in my left forearm, and left hand.
I'm very thankful for the game controller.
I've modified a wireless XBox controller to USB, so some pc games I can play, but not many, and not very well.

"meh PSN is free"

It would appear that for the past few weeks, PSN users have been getting what they paid for.
