Banditos by the Refreshments. I've got the pistols so I'll keep the pesos. Sounds logical to me.

New band called Steele & Rubino. Great CD but this song is not on it. There's a reason why... hard not to get welled up watching this one. Especially if you have a little girl.

The Queen is Well. Queen of Soul that is... Saw Arethra Franklin on Jimmy Fallon, with the Roots, and some killer backup singers. Not kept up with it, but apparently she's had some health problems, things are looking up. I must say she looked better than last time I saw her on the boob tube- sounded pretty good too. Heard "Bittersweet" at work tonite, by Big Head Todd & the Monsters, good stuff. Heard something weird- has someone like Darius Rucker done a new version of "Into The Mystic"?

Can't find a youtube for this, so here's an audio link. This is my favourite mix. Natural Self feat Elodie Rama, "Midnight Sun" (Prince Fatty version) http://soundcloud.com/elodie-rama/midnight-sun-fea t-elodie-rama-prince-fatty-version

Last night my wife and I had the happy pleasure of seeing Al Stewart and Dave Nachmanoff in concert. We have a soft spot for Al, his '78 gig at the Music Hall in Houston was our first "concert" date together. Al closed out the show with this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y04HaYoGT-Q&feature =related

Groovy tune, Mr. Grumps. Sure do miss the obscure music thread. Listening to the Reverend Horton Heat. Dug out that cd for cinco de mayo and yukked it up with our Texas neighbors over some tecates. Good times. Some Reverend:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yk4x0ZM9H6U&feature =fvsr
