Hi;

Does anyone know where we can get PDF owner and service manuals for our Buells? My Droid has massive storage and an Adobe reader client so it would be a great travel companion in case of a breakdown somewhere.

I've seen a few sites offering generic PDF manuals for about everything but a lot of them seem less than legitimate.

Any ideas?

There are some pirated Buell service manuals floating around on the web, but most of them are photocopied so quality will vary. The only legit PDF service manual is for the Buell S1, everything else is pirated.

I agree, it would be fantastic to be able to buy them or have one come with my paper copies, I personally would prefer electronic versions day in and day out. The ability to search by keyword, print fresh non greasy copies as needed would be fantastic. But like everything else in life that makes sense, HD isn't going to allow it.

Like I mentioned before, there are pirated copies floating around on the web, just do a search for them. Please don't post any links on here, thank you. : )

The problem with electronic delivery of service data is the "serendipity" factor.

As a repair consultant. I use service data daily, I live the up and the down sides of electronic and paper service data distributions.

My opinion two are best used to compliment each other, not one replace the other...

Bultaco manuals used to come from the package covered with what appeared to be greasy fingerprints....at the bottom of the page it said "presoiled for your convenience".
