I have both an 05 XB and 08 1125R. Was wondering if anyone knows the size socket needed to get the fork caps off of each? Also, where would I get said socket at as well?

Just about any deep socket of the correct metric size should work, remember that these or import parts so they should be metric. I think on my 03 9r they are 19 and 22 mm for the two parts but I could be wrong. Might not even need a deep socket. Harbor Frieght will certainly have these sockets in a set for less than $50 and probably around $20, the SAE wrenches I bought seem to be fine for the light duty stuff that I do, not sure if they would hold up in a repair shop where they get used hard all day, even Snap-on wear out and get bent.
