That is the most exciting and fascinating thing I have ever seen on youtube. I've been perusing the service manual for the last several days and this really helped me visual the the distinct subsections of the engine and how they integrate to form a whole. | ||

Boing! Did you notice the exhaust evacuation hose during the dyno pulls? There was some interesting dynamics going on there especially at high RPMs. There was one in the lower range as well.. Neat stuff. Pure audio porn.. Brad | ||

My guess is because the RS wheels are major $$$ being cast magnesium. | ||

Is it customary to flog it like that when they set them up new at the factory? That engine carries a whole different realm of tolerance's and clearances than a"run of the mill" street bike.I'm sure it takes it all in stride..........  | ||

2008xb12scg - They come from Rotax as 1125s, then get torn down, modified, and reassembled as 1190s. | ||

Going back and looking at the hands . . . I'm going with Gary. I'll have to look . . .I spent a day at the factory shooting some photos one day and he was working on some development stuff and I've got a ton of photos of him . . I'll try to go back and check the ring out. But you guys need to keep this secret and technically . . ."he was never here".  | ||

Now I see two different pairs of hands in the video. At 2mins 2secs the ring is gone and there is a band-aid on the wrist. This tech is wearing glasses. They are both magicians. | ||
