Just a little off topic but Riverbend Music Center has several of my bucket list bands playing this summer. Most notably Motley Crue and Def Leppard. If they were playing together I'd go if I have to go by myself but Crue is headlining for Poison, who I've seen and New York Dolls. Def Leppard is with Heart, who I wouldn't mind seeing but I wouldn't go just to see them.
Myles Kennedy is just got amazing talent, and is a super guy besides. He happens to be a good buddys life long best friend, so weve met a few times. Just not full of himself. Plus he worked incredibly hard for years to get to where he is. Same kind of passion as Erik. Gotta respect that.
Includes some excellent covers including the Free classic 'Heartbreaker' with Glen Hughes on vocals and 'Tennessee Plates' with John Hiatt, plus great new tracks written by Joe. If you like Blues/Rock you'll like this
Another great album and what I think is the best album I have heaqrd so far this year. Adele and '21'. Very laid back and very very good
This is one of those songs that EVERYTIME I hear it I go back to the city pool circa 1985 when it was on the jukebox. No matter where I am I can always smell chlorine. Weird huh?
this song meant a lot to me when I was in the Marine Corps Its even harder to listen to it now than it was over 20 years ago.... But it sure does represent what is going on in today's world and how I feel about the men and women serving today
I dig this 60 minute podcast featuring Hot Rod tunes on RadioFreeBakersfield Player. There's even a couple motorcycle songs in there. (Note: If occasional profanity offends virgin ears, don't listen... )
