I still have the 2006 XB12Ss but she needs motor mounts, broke a belt, and now the fuel pump. When Al said the motor mounts are on back order this R1 showed up and I couldn't pass on the deal. I'll keep the Buell but I don't think I am going to do my usual 10,000 miles a year on it this year. I'll try and post some pictures soon. It is a whole different thing. And crazy fast. Doesn't handle like the 1125r but WOW! It is crazy for power. I liked the sound of the two brothers on it too. LJM   Gschuette Posted on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 - 10:44 pm:        Personally I am of the opinion that it handles better than my Buell. Front end just feels solid with tons of feedback. I also think the broken motor mounts on the XB are transmitting too much engine vibes and not enough road feel. I'll have to get new ones and see if the handling feels better. The way the R1 lays down power is so confidence inspiring and yes it does sound good. Exhaust is still stock so it is a bit muted.
