I really appreciate all the support I have received the past few months. I will keep going until May 27th,which then I will do an early check in and I will close up the site and post the final amounts. The walk will be on the weekend of June 25th. I will be starting a summer job as the Health care manager at a YMCA Camp on May 27, so will only have an opportunity to check and post emails when I am home on the weekends...so I will keep everyone informed on my training and the walk. I get a avon breast cancer hat...pink shoe laces and socks and drawstring bag....if I get up to 3,800 I would also get a long sleeve breast ca shirt. I really appreciate everyone helping me in my fundraising...when I joined up for the walk I thought I would have trouble meeting the minimal donations which was 1,800.00. Just wanted to check in Before I leave for the YMCA camp that I will be working at this summer. I will be working as the Health care manager for Camp Shady Brook in Deckers Colorado. Will be a great summer!! My avon walk will be on June 25-26 and I am ready!! I will be able to check and send out emails when I am home on most saturdays so I will check in then and tell everyone how my summer is going and how the walk went that weekend. Thanks for your patience. . . can't wait to hear how Lynn held up!   Lynn Posted on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 - 03:52 pm:        Hi everyone, well I have really sporatic wireless up here at the camp I am working at this summer, but I just wanted to tell everyone How I did on my Avon Walk for Breast cancer. On saturday I was able to do 24 out of the 26 miles before I passed out. I am fine, just my sodium/potasium was all screwed up and after a few tablets and a ton of gatorade I was just fine!!... I will do this again next year so expect me to start bugging everyone again the end of next winter. It was such a cool experience, complete strangers would come up to you give a high five or a piece of candy and say thank you!! So thanks again to everyone for their love and support, take care hope everyone is having a great summer!!
