meet the new addition to the Nelson family!

he's a first generation Yorkiepoo- dad is a Yorkie, mom is a poodle. He'll be a little guy- only about 10 pounds fully grown.

my wife and I got married in October, and have had several setbacks already, including being devastated by a miscarraige. Torq is a bit of fun and positive in our lives, right when we needed it!

...and the best part is, he's small enough to take on the Uly in a kennel for camping trips!

Can you guess where these 2 Buellers got the name from? : )

Cute lil' guy! I'm sure he'll keep you quite occupied for some time!

*Edit* Awesome name!

A dog can certainly help us bear life's burdens. I am real happy for you two of you - err make that "three" I guess!

Hopefully, I'll have a chance to meet him in person. Look forward to getting together again this year.

we have a badwebber who actually lives right down the street from me who goes by Torq here on the badweb! The puppie is adorable, and I am sure will be a source of bonding and joy for you and your wife!

Congrats on the pup, he's a handsome fella.

We have a Chihuahua and a Toy Fox Terror, combined weight: 11 lbs. Fierce, absolutely fierce protectors. Just ask the dude who tried to get into my house at Thanksgiving. If it weren't for Skippy and Goliath, I would have slept through it. The dogs woke me up and gave me plenty of warning!

Thanks for the kind words! He has been so far....but he's so sad about missing his siblings. I hope he perks up soon, there's certainly no shortage of love for him!

Lou- concur!
Amy- too funny! Torq does not have a BadWeb account (yet!), but he is on FB : ) facebook.com/pages/Torq-Nelson/143594565705772
James- I can see Torq becoming a good protector already. ...although he has yet to bark, so we'll see!
