Put in for the 12th and 13th off, damn tempted to head down to FL- realistically, I'll probably make a last trip down towards TWO if circumstances warrant. Skins- I'm kinda jealous... you make me want to quit my job, just ride the wave for a bit... | ||

Yeah I know it looks like I'm just chillin' and doin' my own thing. Trust me, I'm not. Sometimes I land a big one that really pays pretty well. It's usually no days off and 12 to 20 hour days and really really really sucks. But that's what I have to do to get long weekends like this Daytona one. | ||

Skin, sorry to hear about the expense. I don't want to think about some expenses I am going to be faced with soon. My house is showing its age and is need of quite a few repairs. I am heading over to Daytona Thursday and heading back Saturday. I am going with a good friend of mine. I'll be sure to wear something Buell, so maybe I will run into some of you. I don't think we'll be seeing any races, my buddy isn't really into that. He's nice enough he'd hang out for a while with me, but I know he has no interest. We'll probably just do a lot of walking around and looking. We are planning to go to the IMS show on Friday. I am looking forward to seeing the 1190RS there. | ||

99.9% sure I'll be heading down 75 I-77/26/95 all the way to Daytona looks like nothing but rain all day Wednesday and Thursday. With that in mind, I think I will show up at the track Friday mid morn I'll be looking for Buellers here.... WOOT!!  | ||

Ouch! Dammit it sometimes hurts being on the fence(barbed wire and all).  I am still waiting to make a decision......  plenty of time left. I have at least 7000 projects that have been waiting for the weather to warm up to where it is now before I can begin spring cleaning. Some of these things are even over due for completion. How can I take time for Daytona? Repeat after me... Weight on left foot. Lift right foot up and out to the side. Put right foot down on other side of motorcycle, place ass in seat. Point motorcycle towards door. Start. Put in gear. Release clutch. Go south. See ya at the track!  see how helpful I am?? That said...my plan is to head out of Frederick MD tomorrow AM. ZIP is 21702. Wolfridgerider: The rain should stop once you are on I95. (at least that is what my local forecast shows. No rain from N of Jax -Daytona Beach.) They are forecasting rain for Daytona Beach on Thursday. Friday, Sat' & Sun' are all forecast "clear". | ||

Wolfie, just leave the crap a** weather in the Mid West! I called the track last night and they were pretty adamant about not letting me camp there tonight (the 9th)... so I am hoping to leave early tomorrow up I 95 and that the traffic is not too bad. I am paranoid about overheating and/ or burning the clutch out... both of which I do not want to repeat. Anyone know when they will open up the infield to set up camp, please let me know ! | ||
