'CD Player'! How quaint. :-)

Top of my MP3 playlist is Mark Knopfler - 'Get Lucky' and I've been playing quite a bit of Brian Setzer Orchestra lately too.

Quaint.....I listen to the radio. Pretty easy. Don't have to spend any time loading anything up.
AM or FM. Always something new and great variety. Bonus.......weather and news............
I have 8 tracks, 45's,albums, a few CD and cassette tapes...boring the 2nd thru.. If I have to play the "Me first,Me everything,Me Me Me" game, there is always youtube....

Sirius here, too...usually Octane, but I gotta have my fix of Hair Nation too!

On the bike (with the Scala BT headset) it's either the 8GB of music on my blackberry, or Pandora radio. Can't see spending MORE money to get Sirius for BB just yet...

Although, without a Sirius dock in the home office I have my old college-radio CD player going. Currently, Queensryche's "Take Cover" CD. Song right now is Synchronicity - very cool remake. Tate's voice never fails to amaze me...

My car's cd player has had the same cd in it for quite some time now, which contains mp3s of just about every song with Maynard James Keenan; all Tool albums, most A Perfect Circle albums, all Puscifer albums, and a few misc tracks.

At home, it has either been the new Tron soundtrack, KMFDM, Buckethead, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Nine Inch Nails, Meshuggah, and Danzig, to name a few. Sometimes I just put my entire library on shuffle.

I don't own any cd's either. The last cd i bought was Erik Buell and the Thunderbolts!

Sirius/XM radio in the truck here too, but 80% of the time its on 202 The Virus so i can hear Opie and Anthony. When its music time I'm all over the place from 80's, country, blues, metal, too xl faction. Wide range i know.

On the bike its Pantera Radio on Pandora or Slacker through my G4. Perfect riding music! I have been thinking about getting the Sirius radio app for my phone.

Wrong36, I'm sure you have heard of "The Company Band" then? Neil Fallon is the singer for them. They sound about the same as Clutch.

"East Tennessee's Own" listener supported radio station- nothing but bluegrass, americana, REAL country, roots rock...

I know most of the folks that run the station personally, super good peeps!!

I highly recommend.

As for the CD player: Herbie Hancock, The New Standard, Bruce Cockburn, Nothing But A Burning Light, Guy Clark, Workbench Songs.

>>Quaint.....I listen to the radio. <<

I've become Advert and DJ intolerant. Completely.

I just podcast the shows I like and skip the drivel now. New music is easy to find too.

Then the computer sends to the amplified speakers wirelessly over the air port.

CD, tuner and AMP have gone under the house with the turntable - but I have 5 iPods. :-)
