USMC Cpl Taylor was killed in action while serving overseas. For those near Citrus County who want to show their respects, you can line the procession route and/or view his memorial service.

On Saturday March 5, 2001 the police escorted procession leaves at 9:00 am from Wilder Funeral Home. The route takes US 19 north to Hwy 44. It will then go east on Hwy 44 to Hwy 491. At Hwy 491 it will go south to Educational Path. The procession will turn onto education path and proceed to the Lecanto High School football field.

People may line up along the side of the roads and/or be at the Lecanto High School Football field. The service at Lecanto High School should be open to the public. If you plan on going to the memorial service, it would be wise to get there early.

For those interested, Bay News 9's website has video of the event.
