I'm not sure but it looks like more suspect Buell swag ! Is this legal ? It seems to be the older style pegasus on top of some of the newer style print on a newer shield shaped background !?. Click the "Report Item" link thats below the sellers location. It asks you a few questions, answer it the best you can, and submit. If a few people do it, Ebay will usually yank the listing. It won't stop someone else from putting up a new one though. Personally, I don't feel its worth the effort. Harley Davidson is the one that should be going after them, they (used to) pay lawyers to do it. | ||

Not helping Hardley but supporting the integrity of intellectual property in general. A rip off is a rip off. Some BP folks should burn for what happened in the Gulf, but that doesn't give me the right to free gas at ARCO that I can re-sell to buddies. | ||

Agreed. Of course, if HD's legal department declines to enforce their rights, that means the rights "up for grabs" for others who might have a real interest in the use of the name at some point, correct? | ||

In a nutshell . . yes. If HD, and I send notification every time I see this, doesn't protect the Buell name . . it risks becoming sort of "public domain". Quite frankly . . I think they could care less. +1 for the home team. The good news is that while they may, if they choose, be able to protect BUELL, they have no rights to Erik Buell. | ||

At this point, I doubt HD legal is going to give a rats ass about a few guys making 75 cents on a decal. Buell was a small part of HD, and they didn't give a crap about them to begin with, you think they would task someone to deal with this? | ||
