Got this one from my youngest brother, maybe you have seen it before but it's worth passing on.

G

Let me get this straight . . . ..

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care
plan we are forced to purchase and
fined if we don't,

Which purportedly covers at least
ten million more people,
without adding a single new doctor,
but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,

written by a committee whose chairman
says he doesn't understand it,

passed by a Congress that didn't read it but
exempted themselves from it,

and signed by a President who smokes,

with funding administered by a treasury chief who
didn't pay his taxes,

for which we'll be taxed for four years before any
benefits take effect,

by a government which has
already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,

all to be overseen by a surgeon general
who is obese,

and financed by a country that's broke!!!!!

'What the @#!*%could
possibly go wrong?'

A woman from Los Angeles, CA who was a tree hugger, a Democrat, and an anti-hunter, purchased a piece of timberland near Colville, WA. There was a large tree on one of the highest points in the tract. She wanted a good view of the natural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree. As she neared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her. In her haste to escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splinters in her crotch.

In considerable pain, she hurried to Mt. Carmel ER to see a doctor.. She told him she was an environmentalist, a democrat, and an anti-hunter and how she came to get all the splinters. The doctor listened to her story with great patience and then told her to go wait in the examining room and he would see if he could help her.

She sat and waited three hours before the doctor reappeared. The angry woman demanded, "What took you so long?" He smiled and then told her, "Well, I had to get permits from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management before I could remove old-growth timber from a recreational area. I'm sorry, but due to Obama Care, they turned me down."

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

The pre-ex is a sham
Washington state hasnt had pre-ex exclusions since 1996, last time I checked we were 38th for 'quality' and the govenor just put state medicaid on notice to end service by 3/1 barring new money from 'somewhere'
....
and the new ObamaCare.... its an expansion of Medicaid.

I have read the bill, it is my new business model, and at every turn, I have yet to be surprised at how clueless hospital staff, elected officials, and patients are about this bill.

its ugly, and it gets worse when they finally turn it 'on'

I wonder how progressives feel about jeffrey immelt heading up the council on jobs? As ceo of GE he closed down almost 30 plants and moved thousands of jobs overseas.

dont forget the sneaker part in it that the fed govt now has 'approval' authority on your educational loans and want to see a dollar to cost return on their lending.... funny they didnt give a shiat about cost containment, feasability, viability or return on investment in the rest of the bill.

if you find someone that likes this bill they either 1 didnt read it, 2 are on the take from it. everybody else - you are screwed six ways to sunday.

enjoy the hype and the chains

One thing that really gets me with BOcare... The unions that supported him so strongly, and brought us BOcare are getting exemptions from BOcare. It just doesn't seem right to so strongly support a program that you are going to fight to be exempt from. It just doesn't make any sense!

I didn't pen this and don't even know if it's true. But I wouldn't be a bit suprised if it is...

NEED TO READ THIS!!!

Can you believe that this ridiculous bill has this and the other provisions in it! There no exception but to repeal this bill!

** Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.

Thank you, Mr. President....

YOU NEED TO READ THIS!!!

YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LIKE THIS:

ObamaCare Highlighted by Page Number

THE CARE BILL HB3200

THIS IS THE 2ND OFFICIAL WHO HAS OUTLINED THESE PARTS OF THE CARE BILL

Judge Kithil of Marble Falls , TX - HB3200 highlighted pages most egregious

Please read this......... especially the reference to pages 58 & 59

JUDGE KITHIL wrote:

** Page 50/section 152: The bill will provide insurance to all non-U.S. residents, even if they are here illegally.

** Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.

** Page 65/section 164: The plan will be subsidized (by the government) for all union members, union retirees and for community organizations (such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now - ACORN).

** Page 203/line 14-15: The tax imposed under this section will not be treated as a tax. (How could anybody in their right mind come up with that?)

** Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of specialty, and the government will set all doctors' fees.

** Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration care according to the patient's age.

** Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a prohibition on hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an exception.

** Page 425, line 4-12: The government mandates advance-care planning consultations... Those on Social Security will be required to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar every five years. (Death counseling..)

** Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.

HAD ENOUGH???? Judge Kithil then goes on:

"Finally, it is specifically stated that this bill will not apply to members of Congress. Members of Congress are already exempt from the Social Security system, and have a well-funded private plan that covers their retirement needs. If they were on our Social Security plan, I believe they would find a very quick 'fix' to make the plan financially sound for their future."

Honorable David Kithil
Marble Falls, Texas

All of the above should give you the point blank ammo you need to support your opposition to Obamacare.

you forgot the part that all of your health records are now required to be electronic,... and that the IRS will have sole access to that data for eligibility, enrollment, premium payment, and medical necessity determinations (since when is the IRS any good with healthcare?!?!)

maybe we can get some safeharbor amnesty cities from this bill like the illegals do for their 'undocumented' status....

the alternative, BOHICA

America is broke, and broken. It needs fixing, but democrats and/or republicans, or tea partiers, can't do it. They are all in the system, all controlled by the
big Money, and the system is working against us all, dems and repub's. George Carlin had it right (as with all Carlin, NWS language warning):

Why do people have a problem with "Death counseling"? It is the patient talking with the doctors on how you want to die given the available options.
For example during the final stages of cancer:
1. staying in the hospital going through aggressive chemo, trying for a hell marry

2. living at home with less aggressive chemo

3. no chemo, trying to beat the max number of dragon runs per day and lap times

If option 3 shortened my days alive on earth by a few months but let me "enjoy" the remaining days. I would pick option 3.

Um no.
And advance directive, power of attorney, living will and end of continum of care decisions are all required LAWYER services, and will be mandated to be on file for everyone enrolled in the new 'healthcare bill'..... it is a lawyer bail out of extreme graft.

go to your hospital and ask for the new brochure on it. you will see that your doctor will 'recommend' that you have one, however it is not a service that a physician can provide, and under CPT/HcPCs coding is specifically prohibitted for billing for.

it is an adminstrative pipeline of referrals for legal services...because nobody of any healthcare / insurance merit wrote or had anything to do with this bill.

Read it. You know your representative that voted on it -DIDNT.

(now they are a good idea, but remember, just like Miranda.... failure to elect will mean that one is appointed for you, and will be to the full benefit of the state and of course the IRS that is runnning the program.... because a death tax only gets you 50%... if you can lien the assets while you are alive at 100% and levy the fine as owned property, come time to die, there is no estate to pass on. )

The progressives never have liked the idea of old money, unless it was theirs.

Funny thing, but I never felt the need of an act of Congress to discuss my treatment options with my doc before. I think you may have some confusion about what's in the bill.

You the patient: So what can you do for me doc....

Doctor: Well, I'm sorry Mr. ____, my hands are tied. Due to your age, all I'm authorized to give you is this pill for your terminal illness to take whenever you feel ready. The government is broke and can't afford a hopeful treatment.

oh I didnt even get into 'continum of care'

even if you HAVE a power of attorney, your end of life determinations for care, your DNR, your advance directive.... and administrative board can, and still WILL oversee the administration of care based on an 'independent expert ruling from concerned stakeholders'

for example, Terry Schaivo, her plug would have been pulled early and often, 15 years in a bed on a feeding tube, not under this Hope and Chains
Its on page 425-7 And you are indeed, on numbered days.

"At the end of last year, the Department of Health and Human Services had granted some 222 temporary waivers to businesses small and large, insurers, labor, and other organizations that offer affordable health insurance or prescription drug coverage with limited benefits. On Wednesday, the agency quietly updated its online list, which now reveals a whopping total of 729 Obamacare escapees – in addition to four states Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, and Tennessee – who collectively cover 2.1 million enrollees."
