Men, acting honorably, aren't sexually active with women without commitment. I feel marriage is that commitment.

In my youth, I didn't act honorably. I have learned to become a man of honor. Many times I still fail and succumb to temptation to not act honorably.

I don't believe in "ambush nookie". It's a thought process by two people.

If men didn't respond to women who were willing to give of themselves freely, would they still? I understand that women have the same sexual appetites as men. Women get horny too. You would have to admit, though, that sexual opportunity is different for men and women.

There is no blame here. I'm not placing this on women. My advice for my daughter is to remember who's she is and that she is special. She is a gift meant for her husband, and that she should wait for the man who will commit to her for a life time. This is the BEST way.

That said, I will also explain that the choice is hers, and that if she chooses sex before life time commitment, please take measures to prevent STDs and pregnancy. I'll even provide. She has free will and that includes the freedom to choose her own path or mistakes.

My advice to my son will be to treat women as the precious gift that they are. They belong to someone and are not yours to do with what you will. I will explain that the greatest gift he can give his future wife besides his lifetime commitment is his purity. It is his badge of honor.

When both have made the life long commitment, they are each the gift to the other. This is the BEST way.

Like my daughter, my son has his own will and must be free to make his own choices and mistakes. I will advise him that if he chooses to engage in sexual activity, please use precautions to prevent STDs and pregnancy. I will even provide it.

It does take two to tango. Both men and women are responsible for their choices.

Although my views are provincial, they are mine and not likely to change.

let me tell you about ambush nookie. You see it off of WestPac all the time

Boat pulled into port and off to town you go, love you long time, bang bang sailor.... and ooops she pregnant.
(maybe its yours maybe it aint, but she got your name and guess whose baby drama is coming to your pay check!)

And if you were in my intell wing, you just got your clearance suspended. Because if you cant keep your d*ck in your pants, I cant trust you to keep a secret, and you without a clearance in my wing you are worthless, I hope you like KP.

And by the way, remember the brief I gave you before you got off the boat/ship/plane?..... exactly. Did I not tell you this would happen? Did I not list the names of the last ones it happend to? Did I not have you sign an understanding of writ before you left the boat? Is that signature not in your personell record? duh.

I dont know how many times I saw ambush punaynay strike.... but it was indeed often.

When the soviets were running the girls they called them Honey Traps... because they would film you in compromising position of questionable moral impropriety and black male you to giving up any info they thought they could get from you....

If a girl is givin it up easy.... you about to be made a mark. I have yet to see an exception to that.

OK. But that screws up my math. I will channel climate scientists and ignore data that is detrimental to my argument.

My original statement stands. : )

"She is a gift meant for her husband"

I know this is not what you mean, but this is what puts a crick in my neck. I hope you aren't teaching your daughter that she is an object/present to be opened/enjoyed by that special someone. I agree that a woman or man for that matter should hold her or his own self in the highest regard. Sex is the tiniest portion of ones life. Unless, of course that's what you do for a living. There is so much more to respect and regard in a person.

"They belong to someone and are not yours to do with what you will."

Again with objectification...

I could tell you some stories from my younger days that still, to this day, boggle my mind. Some of them involve honorable men. Ha Ha

Court...I'm asking, if one commits a stupid act that goes unobserved (or un-photographed), is it really stupid? Kind of like the tree falling in the forest scenerio. Doing something stupid usually gives me an opportunity for a funny story later. Of course, the tale is waaay more funny if someone else is the lead character of the story.

I try to tone down my own stupidity if I can...Ha Ha

Who's objectifying whom?

I seek daily to be a "gift" to my wife. What can I do to make her day better? How can I help her to become the person she wants to be? How can I encourage her? Uplift her? Each day I seek to "earn" the beautiful gift that is my wife.

My daughter is MY daughter. I don't own her, but I am responsible for her. My son is MY son. I don't own him, but I am responsible for him. If they are lucky, each of them will be a gift to someone else.

My wife is a gift to me. This includes being physically available to me, so that we can share that experience together. To me, sharing that experience together, for the first time is best. Neither my wife nor I were virgins. We each carried our sexual past into our marriage. Those without a sexual past have nothing to carry into a marriage.

Again with objectification...

I could tell you some stories from my younger days that still, to this day, boggle my mind. Some of them involve honorable men. Ha Ha

So treating someone as precious not seeking to take what hasn't been earned is "objectification", but sticking bills in a G-String isn't?

Honor isn't a title or a robe. Honor is what you do. If you have to place the word honor in parenthesis, it isn't honor.

Jeremy,

I'm thinking that "gift" may not be the best word to convey your intended meaning; I think you mean "blessing." : )

>>> Sex is the tiniest portion of ones life.

Don't know who you are talkin' 'bout!

Seriously though, that is true for most females, and it may be valid to a point in a spiritually philosophic sense for males, but if you gauge importance based on how much time is invested thinking about it, well, then for most males, sex is near the most important thing in the world.

Jeremy, I can't see where you would take, from any of my posts, that I am saying the stripper/patron relationship is NOT objectification.
What I was saying is you were relaying the same objectification in your posts. I also typed that I knew that is NOT what you meant.

Court, I agree that people should treat people nicely and with respect and regard. Just as you would expect for yourself or your loved ones. The world would be a nicer place.

I am not trying to disrespect anyone here. I am just trying to dispel some of the myths and generalizations that are being spouted on this board, not only this thread. Who better to be counterpoint in these debates than an evil woman?

I certainly am not angry...shocked at some points of view...but not angry.

Blake, I have to disagree. Do you think any normal male (I know that's stretching it Ha) thinks about sex at the really important times of his life? The birth of his child, the death of a loved one, while deeply involved doing what he loves (aside from sex), deep in thought while doing his job? If that's what occupies his mind a greater portion of each and every day...well, they should have only the most menial jobs. I am not a man, so I am only guaging it logically.

My best friend and I were talking about aging just recently. We are both the same age. We lamented the fact that we are so much older and feel that life seems to be slipping away too quickly. One thing that we do agree on is the free time that our advancing age has afforded us, due to not having to field all the unwanted advances and comments and actions in some cases from so many men who somehow feel entitled due to the mere fact that we are women. Now that is a fact Jack.

I have never worked in any kind of industry that would cause a man to think that I was inviting any sort of sexual encounter....but it was a daily drama of how to 'politely' keep a conversation on track.
I have been cat called, propositioned, groped, and worse. I have been objectified in every aspect of my daily life. I even had a man come and stand too close to me while I was talking to a male friend of mine. When I turned my head to ask him to back up (after unsuccessfully trying to ignore him)he licked me on my face...like a dog! I wasn't dressed provocatively...I was wearing a dress that came below my knees.
Still I try not to generalize about men. Seeing alot of the comments on this board as of late...I may be wrong.

And Blake...you don't know. You may have a picture floating around similar to the zipper down pic of Courts. ; )

My posts are all from a Womans point of view. My opinions and experiences only. There are evil people everywhere. They are not all women. As a matter of fact, the most heinous, evil, people that I have seen and heard tale of are, oddly enough, men. I still love you guys. I don't discount anyone on general principle. I react to each and every person on an individual basis. As it should be. And as a result, I have had a supreme life despite some trama.

Pammy, sounds like you've been dealing with a sucky class (or classless) variety of male. I could see how frequency of bad experience could reinforce your belief in the character (or lack thereof) in men.

Could it be possible for your experiences to cause your perception to color my comments in error?

I'll admit, I'm not a woman. I know it's hard to believe. Don't let my moobs fool you. I can only comment on MY thought processes and beliefs and how I choose to relate to women. I can not accurately convey what it is to be a woman. Conversely, as a woman, you can only convey your own thought processes and beliefs, and how you choose to relate to men or how men have related to you.

Having men act poorly toward you can't encapsulate how men are any more than my experience with women completely and fully encapsulates how women are.

Every six seconds! Men are hardwired to multitask. As long as you define multitasking thinking about sex while doing anything else required.

That is no excuse for some of the examples of bad behavior you describe though. Respect should always rule.

IMO this has been a very interesting thread.

"Having men act poorly toward you can't encapsulate how men are any more than my experience with women completely and fully encapsulates how women are."

Which was my point. Some of you guys espouse the belief that all women are evil. I said that no human should be seen as objects...other than men that is...you are all tools! Ha Ha
And there should be ONE standard, not two.

Hooty...and I am still scrubbin'.
I thought I had been injecting humor into each of my posts as well as iterating my lack of anger. You are either not reading my posts in total or...and it breaks my heart to type this...I am not as funny as I think I am. ;( I hate to think it could possibly be the latter due to the fact that I crack myself up. ; ) Does this mean I could be mentally deficient? That last question was rhetorical....no need for an answer.

Bastard, I have dealt with every class of man. Ask your wife how it is. Us wimminfolk just deal with what is thrown at us. Some better than others.
I don't know how old your daughter is, but if you think she will arrive at adulthood unscathed, you are a bit naive.
I think that if you are showing respect to your wife and family and people in general, she will be able to recognize the evil when she encounters it. Keep in mind that some females are not raised with the normalcy that a lot of us were blessed with in our lives. I think those would be the sluts and whoores to which some of you refer. I am not willing to judge people like that. You never know where they came from or what they had to go through to get there.

Pammy,
If men were honest about how much we think about sex, no woman would ever come near us. Your examples, pretty much, yeah.

Doesn't excuse poor behavior, NOT AT ALL!

And my point is not to demonize any woman. I too am dismayed when I see myopic comments by some denigrating women in general as a result of hard feelings from divorce or the like.

My point in raising the issue of promiscuity its enablers (men and women, but especially popular culture) is to try to help curb destructive behavior, to maybe help some realize that our culture of glorifying promiscuity and adultery is harming women and everyone in our society terribly. If we can get more folks to see that, we might make a difference.

I want every abortion doctor out looking for another job, preferably delivering live healthy babies instead of brutally, inhumanely murdering them.

Just wondering how long it took the slimy licker dude to get off the floor. You did kick him in the nuts, yes?

Whenever Michele relates encounters with disrespectful men, I tell her "kick him in the nuts." If more women did that, it would absolutely improve the world. I'm not joking. Along with self-respect, we need to also foster that kind of righteousness in our young ladies.

Yeah, I'm a feminist. LOL!

The licker got dragged out by the scruff of his neck by my friend and a couple of bystanders. I laugh about it now, but at the time I was so grossed out I contemplated getting a tetanus shot at the least.

Unfortunately if I did that much kicking, I would have worse knee problems than I do now. Ha Ha.

I threatened a young man with a powder actuated nail gun, loaded and primed with a 16p nail, once for making inappropriate comments about my teenage daughter. I explained to him the limitations in life one has when one has such hardware protruding from ones forehead. He got the point (but not the nail).
