My rear road smart is toasted. - At 11,200 miles. Very happy with it's performance and wear. Lot of in state and out of miles.

In the 5-7 minute ride from my house to my buddy's, I'm on 3-4 different surface's. Gravel/dirt, highway, really crappy paved back roads, and every once in awhile they throw a sandy gravel mix on the road just for fun. The tire does great, and transitions well.

I'm on a 09 XT, weight 250+ lots of gear. Don't due many wheelies, and no burn outs.

I have a set on my Uly right now.The rear is at the wear bars in 4300 miles. The front has less than 50% tread left in 5000 miles. The last rear I got 4900 miles on it before it was gone.I like the tire, but I still can't find a tire that gets more than 5000 miles.Oh well they stick good & seem stiff enough for some rough gravel.

When I read things like this, I can't help but wonder how you guys are RIDING those bikes. I get better than 6K out of the OEM Pirelli Diablos on the 1125R. I'm greedy... I want MORE. I'll be checking out the Metzeler Z6 Interacs at the next tire change.

I got the same milage on the Diablo's too.It might have a lot to do with the roads I frequent in SW Va.They say the Blue Ridge Parkway eats tires & the other roads up there are pretty course.

I've run 2 sets of Roadsmarts on my XT, luv the grip but haven't got more than 5K out of a set. Running PR2's now,we'll see how they do! I have been known to tear it up on a regular basis, both solo and 2-up!
