>>>>To see the piles of garbage and thank God they don't live in a city ruled by public unions?

Well . . . they are getting their overtime now.

: )

They finally picked up ours tonight . . . neighbors had about 60 black bags at the curb.

Oh . . and by the way . . . I'm calling this my "party photo of the day" . . .who knows what can happen in a snow drift.

And . . uh . . . while I'm giving awards . . . my "Economy in the Use of Space" goes to this fine Oriental gentleman . . . I saw him rolling the cart with all the sheets of plywood, siding and about 60 2" x 4"s out and was looking for his truck. When I came out . . . well, he damn near had it loaded.

But . . . I'm sitting here writing this . . . looking at the Empire State Building which is lit up in green tonight and all things considered . . . well it's NEW YORK CITY . . not an altogether bad place to hang. A couple shots from the drive home.

: )

From the looks of the "garbage",I take it NYC doesn't recycle paper, plastic, cardboard or glass.

Clear bags are recycling.

Hahahaha. . . we even had "Sanitation Police" (with real guns) who drive around and check contents of random bags.

The infamous "double rainbow video" sound was dubbed in the real footage of the truck video. Funny good stuff.
