Mine (2009 Uly XT) does not like anything below 2500. Wish it did because it makes riding around and through town a chore! (first gear only.)

Yeah - the Go Pro image quality is great.

Their claim about 'only hearing your bike's roar and not the wind at 85mph' is a little disappointing though.

My observation is that the automatic gain software works fine on a loud or competition bike and not very well on a machine with a standard exhaust system - when helmet mounted.

Edit - Since discovered It needs to be mounted in a mechanically noisy place for it to work. Then it works much better.
