OK so last Monday October 4th, I had an other ACL repair surgery. That was the bad, the worse is the while in there the surgeon found the LCL needed to be fixed as well as the Posterior Oblique and the Posterior Lateral Tendons needed to be fixed AND both the lateral and medial meniscus also needed to be trimmed. IF things could even worse I now have an infection in the knee. I know this is minor stuff compared to some other stuff going on in the world but come on, the weather has been great here and the M2 just sits there. I need to rebuild the recoil and change the hy-fax on my sled but why bother because the chances are that I won't be riding that either. AARRGHHHHH!! Sorry just needed to vent.

Mike,
Man, a lot at all one time!

I can't offer much in terms of info on your recovery from all of that complicated stuff above. I do know that you are a good man for helping us out with finding a home for Bella, so...

I'll ride your M2 if you'd like and take the sled for a rip next time I am up... Or, I'll let you know when my next trip to Madtown is, and I'll take ya to dinner and buy you a tendon loosenor or two.

Heal up fast, friend!
Alex

When you're going through an injury it's like it will never heal.
It takes time-hang in there man!

Ugh! On the upside, I'm not sure all that damage repair will take any longer to heal than if they just did the ACL. It'll make physical therapy rougher though, no doubt, and maybe longer as they have to dodge more things.

I actually rode the street bike quite a bit both before the surgery and during the recovery. Had to stay off the dirt bike though for sure. I explained to the Dr. that I had been riding the street bike for almost 6 months with the torn tendon and that it wasn't a problem (and it wasn't), and he gave me the OK to get back on pretty quick (6 weeks maybe? I forget).

I just had to make sure that if I was going to fall, I fell to the right, not to the left. : ) Helps that I was on the 9sx also, easy to flat foot with no drama.

Thanks guys! I did winterize the M2 and the sled needs a little wrenching before it will be ready. Recovery time will be just a little longer and I will have to spend 7-8 weeks in the immobilizer which really blows.
